Passive fire protection (PFP) refers to the systems installed within a building to contain or slow the spread of fire and smoke. Unlike active systems like sprinklers or alarms, PFP is built into the structure and is critical to ensuring safe evacuation and protecting lives and assets.
Our fire stopping services are designed to restore and maintain the fire performance of walls, floors, and ceilings that have been breached during the installation of mechanical and electrical services.
We install fire-rated batt and mastic systems to seal penetrations and gaps around services in fire-rated partitions. These systems are tested in accordance with BS EN 1366-3 and are vital for maintaining compartmentation.
We supply, install, and maintain certified fire doorsets (FD30, FD60) in line with BS 8214 and BM TRADA/FIRAS standards.
Our team installs systems to subdivide buildings into fire-resistant compartments, preventing the spread of fire and smoke.
